Our 1-hour online hackathons are often standalone competitions. For major 3-hour in-person events, they can also serve as the qualifier, held two weeks before the main event to decide which teams advance.

Earn your place on stage
Build, pitch and compete in front of a live audience. With only a limited number of team spots available, online challenges or a 1-hour online competition determine who earns a place on stage.
Two weeks before: the selection round
All teams applying for an in-person event take part in an online challenge two weeks beforehand to determine who gets through. For our largest major events, this selection round takes the form of a 1-hour online hackathon. Successful teams advance to the 3-hour in-person event.
